As I have stated before, I don’t subscribe to just one train of thought. I’m a mixed bag. My eggs are definitely not all in any one financial gurus basket.  I hear what they have to say, and apply what I can use.

I am guessing from the title there are some of you that already have a filter (ha! no pun intended) up about this post. Hold the hate until you are done reading.

As I said before you will not die if you and Starbucks or whatever coffee shop you frequent part ways for a while.  If you did what I asked and actually looked at what you are spending your money on, how much are you giving to further the coffee franchise? Did it surprise you? Now, I didn’t say the break-up had to be permanent, just modified.

Hopefully you didn’t read the last post and skip out to drown yourself in a latte. I am hoping you were serious, regardless of your situation, about taking a look at where you stand. Because let’s face it, we can all stand to tweak our financial situation.

One of the reasons that this blog got started is a conversation my husband had at work.  We had been spring cleaning the house. That of course involves washing windows, blinds and curtains. So, we have determined we all need a budget. Did you go to the library or did you find a thousand excuses not to? Did you go to the book store and just buy the book so you could mark it and make it your own or did you research some of these things on- line?
